Artisan Craftsmanship

Empowering Artisans, Transforming Communities

Through our Craftsmanship Initiative, a vital part of the World Bridge Collective, we support artisans in Uganda and Kenya by providing resources, training, and market access they need to thrive. Most of these artisans are single mothers and teenage girls who are rich in creativity and tradition but often face challenges accessing the tools, materials, and platforms to sell their products. We address these barriers by offering microgrants and financial support, and access to international buyers through online platforms, exhibitions, and at the World Bridge Center in Asheville, NC.

  • Craftsmanship Meets Sustainability This initiative is more than commerce—it’s about creating sustainable livelihoods. By helping artisans generate income through their crafts, we empower them to support their families, send children to school, and contribute to the economic development of their communities. By purchasing their items, you’re not just buying a product—you’re investing in a brighter future for artisan families.
